What do you need?
This game is run via zoom, but you will need to be able to access the escape game website at the same time in order to play. This can be done with two tabs open on a standard PC or by using two devices (though it is easier on one device as you don’t have to manually copy and paste the link.) Once you have joined the meeting and Ruth Ware has introduced the event, you will be randomly assigned into teams with players.
During the event our escape game host will be there to provide hints and if you get completely stuck – explain how to solve the puzzle or just give you the answer so you can progress with the game.
If you have any issues accessing the meeting, please email [email protected] or phone +441472 348 909 for assistance.

‘Ruth Ware’s richly-textured The It Girl is at once an engrossing murder mystery while also a perfectly crafted and haunting examination of lost youth and the compromises of adulthood, as a woman unpicks the past secrets of her university friends to finally lay to rest her murdered best friend, the dazzling April. Reminiscent of The Secret History, Ware has surpassed herself with this gripping, absorbing whodunnit. I loved it! All hail the Queen'
Sarah Pinborough
'Ruth is the master of the fiendishly twisty, yet completely believable, plot'
Elly Griffiths
‘The best thriller you’ll read this year. From its explosive opening to that dizzying first twist, Zero Days is a fast-paced – but also very touching – ride'
